After a while of walking, the two arrived at Hunter's hotel. The hotel was huge, and fancy looking, obviously quite expensive. How the heck could Hunter afford this place? Well, he had a lot of leftover money from selling his family's farm. It was useful. He also got a lot of money from being a somewhat famous Sculptor. He made statues of people, animals, and anything he could think of through use of his shadow powers. He simply requested a photograph of the creature or person they wanted sculpted, went to his hotel, and made the shadows into the sculpture, before returning to the customer the next day, or even the same day, and giving them the sculpture. He made quite a bit of money this way, and even occasionally made sculptures for hotels and such. Which was exactly how he managed to get a room in this luxurious hotel. He created two sculptures, of a lion and a tiger, for the front of the building, and sold them to the hotel in exchange for a room for up to two months. He didn't pain the sculptures, of course, somebody else did, but he was all set.

"Nice place." Akira said as he noticed the hotel was really fancy. Never in his life had he seen anything like this. 'How did he get enough money for this?' He wondered, shaking his head slightly in disbelief. "You obviously have some money." 'Although he could do with some better clothes.' The angel thought. Akira ignored him, still in awe of the room around him. It was simply magnificent. The fanciest place he'd been to was Wal-Mart, which had branched into Tokyo for the tourists. Of course, no store was as great as this place, heck, he doubted that any house was as great as this.

"I actually 'sculpted' the lion and tiger statues for this place. I simply asked for, instead of money, to stay at this hotel free for as long as they let me. I have a month and three quarters left." He said. "Sculpting is what I do to live. I have learned how to convert my sculptures into different precious, and even non-precious stones. My most common is onyx stone, though, since it's what my shadows naturally turn into when they harden. Of course, I don't tell my customers how I make my sculptures." He said, smiling. Walking in through the front door, Hunter walked over to the desk, and smiled.
"Yes, how may I help you, Hunter?" The woman asked, a smile on her face. The employees here were payed extra to be really nice. It was part of the appeal.
"Could I get my room set up for another night? I have a guest, as well, so I'll need the room readied for two people." He said. and the woman smiled back.
"Of course. For now, would you like to use any of our other services?" She asked. Hunter smiled and nodded.
"The pool, if you would be so kind. I'd like to relax a little. If you could also possibly get swimsuits prepared? I'll need one large for me, and you can ask my friend for his size, if he wishes to use the pool as well." Hunter said, and the woman nodded, before standing up and walking into another room to prepare swimsuits. The hotel was really expensive.

Akira smiled. The staff were obviously payed well here. As the woman came back with two swimsuits, he was amazed that she'd guessed the right size. Thanking her, Akira turned to Hunter. "You must be a pretty good sculpture to make those." He said, trying to keep a conversation going. But all that he was thinking of was if there were any hot girls in bikinis. Although he hadn't been with the civilized people in a while, he'd never forgotten those times at the pool. He had grown into a slgiht pervert due to the other Japanese men in Tokyo, but that was only to be expected. 'I don't understand humans and their fascination with the opposite sex. Especially you mean and your hentai.' The angel scoffed. Already, Akira could feel him resting back down. The main excitement was over for the moment, but once they were done with the pool, Akira had no doubts that he would wake up.

Walking into the pool room, Hunter noticed that not a lot of people were there. There were a few women, but not a lot of men. He didn't care, though. In fact, he was hoping it had been empty, so he could cannonball without bothering anybody. But oh well.
Walking over, Hunter sat at the edge, checking to see the water's temperature. It was good, as always. He moved his body into the pool, and moved out a bit before floating there. It was relaxing, and he enjoyed the water. It was enjoyable, to say the least.

Akira walked in, and felt a little more disappointed than Hunter seemed to be. He'd also wanted to do a cannonball, and he'd also wanted to see some woman there. Without thinking, Akira walked over and jumped as softly as he could into the deep side of the pool. As his body hit the bottom, he remembered something really important: he couldn't swim. Struggling to get to the top, panic took over, and he started squirming around. Once, he'd been able to surface, but after that, he was dragged back under. That's when it happened. He stopped moving, and his body started to change. As his hair turned black, Akira forced his eyes open as he realized what was happening. The angel was trying to get out, taking over for Akira's near death experience. If it got out, then innocent people would be killed, and maybe even Hunter. Using all of his strength, he pushed the angel back inside, allowing his body to go back to normal. Now that he was in his right mind, he pushed himself off of the underwater floor and came up for air, grabbing onto a ledge. "I forgot that I couldn't swim." Akira explained to the watchers. He had a feeling that Hunter would have jumped in a few seconds to save him.

The watchers began to chuckle, and one of them burst into laughter. It was funny, as far as they were concerned. Hunter on the other hand, just smiled. "Well, you're only a little worse off than I am. I'm afraid of the ocean." He said, before swimming over to where he was. "If you would like, I could teach you." He offered, before jumping up onto the side of the pool. Something strange had happened in the water, and Hunter was fully aware. He'd probably ask later, but for now, he wasn't worrying about that.

Akira looked scared at the water. Looking over at the others, he decided that he would have to do what was best for the others. "I don't think that would be a good idea. When I get really scared I kind of lose control." He said, rubbing the back of his head. "For now, I think that I'll stay where I can walk." Akira said, rolling out onto the cold floor. Standing up, he walked over to the shallow end and stepped in, a little bit unsettled. Just one more second, and he'd have lost control, killing all of those innocent people. 'Come, now. You know that you won't be able to hold me back forever.' The angel thought. Ignoring him, Akira walked as far as he could into the water before sitting down, his head going under. He knew that all he had to do was stand up and he'd be safe, so he didn't freak out about this.

By now, Hunter was incredibly curious. He decided he'd probably ask once they got to the room. In his head, he thought of all sorts of possibilities. Maybe he was actually a human possessed by some sort of demonic being, or maybe something else was wrong with him. Sighing, Hunter decided to occupy himself for a while by doing a few laps in the pool. It was refreshing, as the water rushed past him, making his hair soaking wet. He was really fast in the water, mostly due to his athletic abilities and strength.
After a while, Hunter climbed out of the pool, and grabbed his towel, beginning to dry himself off. He turned his head to see where his friend had gone.
