It had been two long years, and finally, he was home. Akira looked around, eager to see how much Tokyo had changed since he'd been forced to leave. His brown hair fluttered around his face as he ran down the streets, oblivious of the stares he was getting. His goggles easily kept the wind out of his eyes, allowing him to see clearly, while making sure others couldn't see his eyes. This was perfect since they were purple. Jumping over a small pedestrian, he got even more stares, but this time they were more annoyed than anything. But he didn't care, he was back and sure that the police had stopped looking for him at the time being.
But at the moment, he had nowhere to go. If he went home, his dad would turn him in without another thought. In his old man's head, Akira had killed too many people and the world would've been better off without him. Of course, Akira knew the truth. He'd killed merely because the demon sealed inside of him had taken over. If it hadn't been for that, he'd never have killed anyone. It wasn't possible to change the past though, so it was only time to look forward, to look towards a new era. Gripping a necklace in his hands, Akira rounded a corner before bumping right into someone.

"Pardon me, I should've watched where I was going." Said Hunter as he bumped into another person. He took a step back and bowed respectfully. Hunter had been born in Borada, a small village town in Japan. His parents had been killed, but Hunter didn't worry too much about it. Sure, he missed his mom and dad, and wished they were still alive, but he knew his mother and father wouldn't want him to grieve for them every day of his life, so he didn't. In a way, he was doing his parents a favor.
"By the way, how are you today? Lovely weather we're having. Not a cloud in the sky!" He said, hoping to strike up a conversation. Hunter had the habit of trying to stay on people's good side. It was just how he was.

Akira smiled, grasping the man's hands in his own. "Nice to meet you, sir!" He said. "It was really my fault for bumping into you, though. Anyways, the weather is fairly nice." Akira was just happy to be back home. Nothing could ruin this day. "So, what's your name?" He asked, making sure that his goggles were still on. He didn't really want the stranger to see his purple eyes, he'd probably be afraid or call the police. That was something that Akira definitely didn't need.
From the looks of the man, though, he was a respectable person. If it came down to it, he guessed that the two would be able to trust each other. But the chances of them having to were very unlikely. Conscious that others were getting irritated of them in stopping in the middle of the sidewalk, Akira walked over towards a bench and sat down on it, motioning for the man to do the same.

Hunter smiled. This guy was quite polite. He liked that. Hunter walked over and took a seat, then said "I'm Hunter Kirizaki. I was born in Borada, a small village town on the coast. You probably haven't heard of it." Hunter sat back on the bench, and asked "Where were you headed? I hope Im not keeping you from an appointment or anything." As he turned his head towards Akira. "I was just heading back to my hotel room from the Ramen shop."

Akira shook his head. "No, you haven't interrupted me. I'm just wandering through the city. It's been a long time since I've been here." He told him. 'Way too long. If only I had control back then, I might've been able to stop it from happening...' He thought to himself before nodding once. "My name is Akira, born in Tokyo, but left a few years back. Just now came in order to see if anything has changed." Deep down, the real reason why he'd came was in order to see a girl that he hadn't been able to stop thinking about since he'd left. Most likely she didn't remember him, but he knew for a fact that he did. She was the person that he dreamed about every night, for better or worse.

Hunter smiled and tilted his head to the side, turned towards his new acquaintance. "Ahh, so you lived here before? Interesting. I don't go back to my hometown, though. Quite a few painful memories that I won't bother you with." He said. Hunter's parents had died in his hometown, killed off by a group of raiders. Their town isn't very well known, and didn't have a lot of protection from things like that. But, it was quite peaceful, up until that time. Hunter never went back. He wouldn't want his parents in heaven to worry about him.

"I understand. I have quite a few painful memories here, too. But I need to find someone, and she's here." Akira said, trusting this man for some reason. Somehow, he felt that the two had a somewhat similar past. Akira had lost everything that he'd cared about, and from the sounds of things, so had Hunter. Pulling something out of his pocket, Akira held out to show it to the man. It was a silver cross on a necklace, something that anyone could buy from a cheap store. "She gave this to me just a few days before I left here." He told him, remembering the girl.

"She must be important to you. I wouldn't know, because, for some reason, I have no interest in dating of any kind." Hunter said, smiling. This guy was seemingly trustworthy, thought Hunter. You never kinew a person until you walked in their shoes, but he believed he could trust him. Smiling, Hunter snapped his fingers. The shadows under the bench began to shift, and soon moved into his hand. Forming into a mirror, Hunter looked at himself, then his teeth, and frowned. He had something stuck between his teeth. Hunter took his other hand, forming the shadows into a toothpick, and used it to get the food out of his teeth. It was a piece of lettuce from earlier today.
"Pardon me. That has been annoying me for quite a while, and I didn't have a chance to remove it until now. I hope you don't mind." He said, bowing his head. Hunter always tried to stay on people's good side. IT was just how he functioned.

Akira smiled, recognizing immediately that he was right. Although Hunter had tried to hide it from him, Akira had felt some kind of power being used. 'Heh...I've heard of this one...Hunter Kirizaki, the man able to control shadows.' A voice said in Akira's head. It was the demonic angel that had been sealed inside of him at birth. It only talked when it felt something interesting, or when Akira was in a battle. Of course, the angel would've spoken up by feeling this power. 'Yeah, yeah. You hear about everyone.' Akira thought back to it.
"I don't mind." Akira told him, reassuringly. In truth, he was quite impressed. All that he could do was break things and cut people in half, while Hunter had some skill and technique to it. 'It would be interesting to show who wins in a fight.' The angel thought, picturing Hunter lying dead in Akira's hands. Snorting, Akira shook his head. "Sorry about that. Sometimes it feels like there's two people inside of my head."

"Are there? It's quite possible considering how this world is." Hunter said, smiling. Gathering up more shadows from underneath the bench, Hunter used his powers to create a small figurine. The figurine looked exactly like Akira. Hunter handed it to the man, and said "Free of charge." Before smiling once again. Standing up, Hunter bowed to his new friend. "It is getting late, it seems. I must go back to my hotel to keep my room for another night. If you would like, you may come with me." He stated, then waited for a reply.

Akira hesitated. He truly didn't have anywhere to stay. If his father was still around here, then he was certain he wouldn't be welcomed at home. But he also didn't want to get in this man's way. 'You should do it. Find out more about him. Who knows, maybe he's part of the Order.' The angel thought. The Order was the group that had placed the angel inside of Akira in the first place. Although they weren't evil, Akira felt that the world would be better without them. They'd killed his mother as they placed the angel inside of him, and years later they killed one of his partners because he'd been learning too much.
"I would like to, but I don't want to put you out." Akira said, truly not wanting to impose on this man. "I could easily find somewhere else to sleep." He told him, although it was mostly a lie. He had came to this city with no money, thus he'd probably be sharing a bench with a hobo.

"I don't mind. In fact, I'd enjoy some company. I never get any company anyway. But, only come if you can actually trust me, as most people wouldn't go with a stranger willingly. It's up to you." He said. Hunter wasn't going to do anything to him, but he knew it would be a strange and dangerous idea to sleep in the same room with a total stranger, who also happens to have the power to control the shadows.

Akira smiled. "I never was the brightest person." Standing up, he wondered if he should tell Hunter. After a few seconds of thinking, he finally nodded. "Anyways, if you tried to kill me, I'm sure that I could handle myself. After all, I have some tricks hidden up my sleeves as well." He said, after deciding to go half-way. It would be better to show Hunter later, when there weren't so many people around. Although Hunter could hide his, if Akira unleashed his powers here, he'd definately be on the news tomorrow. A half-angel/demon wasn't that common in Tokyo, Japan.

"I can say that I won't attempt anything of the sort. But it's good to know you're prepared in case I get mind controlled or something." He said, then laughed a bit. Turning, Hunter looked over his shoulder, and asked, "Shall we go?" before beginning to walk. Hunter's pace was fast, considering he was in great shape and that he was so tall, with long legs.

Smiling, Akira raced up to Hunter. He had no problem keeping up with the man. It had been a while since he'd been able to move as fast as he'd wanted, without having anyone lagging behind or worrying about being spotted. Here, everyone was different. Several people even had guns in their hands as they walked. 'So, the lion and the tiger unite.' The angel said. Akira merely shook his head. At times, the angel inside of him was so confusing. 'What the hell is that supposed to mean?' Akira thought back to it. The lion and the tiger unite...if that happened, what would the kid look like? His mind immediately dozed off, thinking about different looking hybrids.
